Tdeucen, are you free any time this weekend for a run at the IOS boss?


I am currently sitting on 2200 shards. I skipped out on getting the champion for now, even though I think he will be imperative to me soloing the IOS boss. I keep rolling for heroes in hopes to hit the jackpot. I got a paladin yesterday, just on the heels of getting the free one.

I would think Tues - Thurs would be better for Boss 2, no? Weekend plans, and what not, plus Monday I'm always iffy, even if I show I'm probably half drunk.

But I want to talk talents. I threw down another $20 and got real lucky. 4/5 revit on Pumpkin Duke, 2/5 revit on Druid.

So here's my planned boss run:
TG 109 4/9 4/5 revive
Druid 111 4/9 2/5 revitalize
Pumpkin 105 4/9 4/5 revitalize
Champion 83 3/9 4/5 berserk
Succubus 67 4/9 2/5 revitalize

Am I in a good place? I realize 2/5 isn't great but it's not the worst talent I could have for sure.

Which toon should I be re-rolling on now?

I've been having 2/5 revitalize on Pumpkin for about 2 months, and have spent every gem I earned on re-rolling him and coming up with nothing, today I slapped down $$ and bam, seems fishy to me but whatever.

I just checked the CC FB page, and apparently there will be an update soon that bumps tower garrison effects to a max of 7 (instead of 5, I think), and also a SIXTH HERO BASE WILL BE ADDED. Supposedly, the requirements to get your sixth base are you will need 4 gold mines, 4 gold vaults, 4 mana mills, 4 mana vaults, and 4 army camps all at level 16. So if you're a ways from those levels, you might want to think about starting to upgrade them.

Yep, seems like a huge gem grab because I'm sure a lot of people will be impatient and spend gems to finish construction.

Here is where I am:

Gold mine
16 16 15 15 15

Gold vault
16 15 15 15

Mana mill
14 14 13 13 13

Mana vault
15 15 14 14

Army camp
15 14 14 14


So I need 6 days times 2 gold mines, 6 days times 3 gold vaults, 11 days times 2 and 15 days times 2 on mana mills, 11 days times 2 and 6 days times 2 mana vaults, 6 days times 1 and 11 days times 3 army camps, for a total of 155 days of construction. Three builders will take 52 days to finish it all. shite, I thought I would be closer than that.

I'm patient enough to wait on buildings, but I do spend money on the game for talent re-rolls, and earlier on for hero rolls. I haven't spent a single gem on buildings..other than extra builders.

I've been concentrating on hero bases, arrow towers, and of course I'm forced to upgrade mana and gold vaults to keep up. Mills are crap, though, even at high levels they don't produce anything meaningful so I have let them sit.

Anyone running boss tonight?

My setup:

I can start a stun lock, but TG and Champion get out of sync, presumably because one has berserk and the other doesn't...ideas to remedy?

ETA: Maybe try to roll a revitalize on Champ?

I would love to have a GR, he's better than almost all of my guys. I think if you get his ability up to lvl 5 where he starts leaching HP from 4 enemies he will really start to shine.

You need either another stun (Heavy Blow) or Cupid. I don't use Succubus or Revive (Succ has 4/5 Revive) anymore. Cupid's buff outweighs Succubus' skill since it is capped.

I use:

TG 124 5/9 3/5 Berserk
Druid 128 4/9 1/5 Heavy Blow
PD 120 5/9 4/5 Revitalize
Cupid 102 5/9 4/5 Heavy Blow
Champion 80 3/9 4/5 Heavy Blow

Use shards to raise PD's skill to 5/9 asap. Don't raise Champion's skill anymore. You are where I was when we started Boss 1. You can stun for a little while but it fades because TG and Champ stuns hit at the same time.

Is E easier than D? Because I still have trouble with D, but I beat E first try with no garrisons and no troops. If I can do that half the time that would be wonderful.

Edit: Nope, E is definitely harder. I may have leveled my guys enough to start farming D finally. I feel so pathetic compared to you guys.
