It’s been fun! I thought the other thread was the main MW4 one. Anyone every want to run just post ur user. I play hardcore search and always hated campaigns and other things. But DMZ is fun.

They are doing a great job with this tbh. Most people who think the other is cheating are just not better than them period. I’ve gone 20+ on search and been called a cheater plenty.
They used an upgraded model for MW4 where you can not wall hack at all. Server Culling.

You may be able to open match play. Will not know until launch. People are really upset because the game matches your skill? I’d rather play my skill and get better than play sorry people and get 25 kills on search and destroy. I think the location regionalization will help too.

Yea I’m not young and have played these for 12 years now. I’ve personally gotten confirmations of cheaters getting banned. They did better with the last big update on BO7 and it seems MW4 will be even better on that end.
Nobody is denying it goes on. I had a buddy who had a Cronus running with some crazy thing where the second shot was always a head shot. He was banned twice then they banned his IP.

yeah yeah, we’ve heard that before. you play 2-3 games and if your K/D is above 1.0 and you’re thrown into lobbies with streamers, cheaters, and wannabe pro-players.

I want to play against true open lobbies. I don’t need to “get better”. I have a job, a wife, and 2 kids. I play CoD for an hour or two a couple nights a week to unwind and get my competitive fix. I have no intention of becoming a pro or making a living streaming. And before you start with the, “you must just suck”, I’d suggest you take another route, because I can pick up the sticks tomorrow and go drop 30 kills in a dom/demo/tdm multiplayer lobby and i haven’t played the last 2 shitty CoDs. There are plenty here on the GB that will vouch for that. That doesn’t mean I want to sweat every single game. If you’re a tryhard, then have fun. I’ll pass

Nobody was going to say you suck. Just seems you have an agenda. And for someone who says they didn’t play the last two, you have a lot of assumptions that aren’t facts.

Community? So you follow them but haven’t played in years? TDM is terrible btw. Guessing you play core?
I sometimes play with two of the best there is on search. One is 2.7 and one is above 3 KD. I sit around 1.7 but with them I barely go positive. I see ur point on matchmaking but when I play alone, I’m not getting those lobbies. And I’m still a really good kd guy at 1.7.

Because I’m invested in the franchise.
The first console I bought with my own money was specifically to play COD4. Outside of Advanced Warfare and the last two abominations, I’ve put hundreds of hours into every COD. I still follow the same content creators I watched during the series’ heyday.
I’ve watched our close-knit COD squad that used to be 15–20 deep dwindle year after year until it’s a damn miracle we can fill a lobby. That didn’t happen overnight. It happened because the developers made us hate a game we used to plan our nights around. Because they hate us.
Every year, it’s the same promises: returning to their roots, cracking down on cheaters, toning down SBMM, and making multiplayer a priority again. Then the game releases, and it’s the same bullshite.
Apparently, “returning to our roots” just means returning to our wallets. But by all
means, enjoy MW2019 part 4.

Multi player is still messed up on launch day. Playing now and they don’t have hardcore up yet.

Yes I will complain about it forever. SBMM should be reserved for ranked play. One of the major issues with prioritizing skill in matching making is that it leads to higher ping lobbies and lagging issues. Especially if you’re an above average player. At that point gunfights are no longer won with skill they are decided by who has the better connection. Give me connection based match making every time.

It’s been fairly good. Packet loss hasn’t been higher than 0 and ping been 18-21 like my normal. Lobbies haven’t gotten harder yet. Streamers earlier.
It has been locking on to the top internet in the lobby region. We have been NA Southeast all day today.

The maps do somewhat all look alike. Hope they come out with more when they bring shipment.
Same ways out spawn etc. lobbies have been great tho. And no cheaters.
No spawn nukes. Good gun play. It’s a better COD than recents tbh. If you bitch about SBMM, go play Minecraft. Also the tokens are in COD time not real time so people are getting double xp wayyyy longer. We have two guys who prestiged already we play with.
