And I honestly can say that UC2 embarrasses Gears 2 on the 360. Its not even close.
Not trying to be an arse, but have you played UC2, and I mean on an HD TV. There is no comparison.
I am more of a 360 fan then PS3, but "outshines" is probably not a strong enough word to describe the difference in graphics.
You could also play Heavy Rain and Gow3. All these games I mentioned poop on 360's graphics.
Have I played Killzone 3, No... But neither have you.
Yes I have Uncharted 2 Among Thieves, yes on a HDTV
Poop? on Xbox 360 visuals???

netflix is pretty good. Mlb.tv is pretty good. The graphics might not be better but what you get with it blows xbox out of the water imo.
I have one of the original ones. You dont necessarily need a lot of memory. If you run out you can always just get an external hard drive for it.

I wouldn't buy a PS3. (I have one and never play it)
1)You can buy a used wireless network adapter for about $30.
2)There are a couple of PS3 exclusives that look better than PS3 games, but most multiplatform games perform and look better on 360.
3)Blu-Ray players are much cheaper now.
4)There are a few games that are PS3 exclusive that are awesome, but not worth buying a PS3 for IMO.
5)We are probably coming towards the end of this generation of consoles.

I don't think so. I think MS and Sony want to push this gen to 2014 or 2015.

I apologize, I meant KZ2. Have you played KZ2?
It puts Gears to shame.
And I don't really know how you can have played UC2 and honestly say that it isn't immensely better than Gears 2 graphically.
Hope this helps:

I see what you are trying to do Playslave, but if your trying to get me to see night and day in those photos that is stupid.

I am in no way a fanboy of Sony's and my 15,000 gamerscore agrees with me. I do however know which system has better graphics. Especially when it isn't even a close competition.
Whats even funnier is that in the recent GT5 post you said:
Thats funny...you are calling me a fanboy and then somehow can call Forza 3 a better game than GT5 when you havent even played it.

Thats funny because I didn't say I actually played it and no where did I mention Forza 3. What I am getting at is that Gran Turismo developer Polyphony has shot themselves in the foot with these unforgivable development cycles that most people are moving on from Gran Turismo onto the Forza franchise. The Gran Turismo franchise has not sold the same since Gran Turismo 3 and the quality of the franchie has gone down, and that is something that has not happened to the Forza franchsie yet.
Nice try though.

NO, industry experts say we are NOT close to the end of this generation. The abilities of the PS3 have only begun to be exploited by developers.
On a side note about Netflix: If you use the streaming disc, don't use it for extended periods. Take a break after a movie or so. I kept having issues with my disc becoming defective, so I called Netflix. They informed me that the PS3 blueray laser will slowly burn into the DVD format and destroy the content if left running too long. I checked my bad discs, and sure enough, every one had a little brown ring from burn in.

Courtesy of VGChartz:
Gran Turismo (PS): 10.85 Mil
Gran Turismo 2 (PS): 9.37 Mil
Gran Turismo 3 ASpec (PS2): 14.89 Mil
Gran Turismo 4 (PS2): 10.56 Mil
So because Gran Turismo 4 has sold as much as every other GT except GT 3 (the previous game), it is somehow permanently going down hill?
Then we can talk about the prologue releases which are glorified demos that sell more than most game developers ever dream of.
In fact, let me just post Forza 3 vs. GT5:P sales...
GT5:P (PS3): 3.85 Mil
Forza 3 (360): 3.00
Looks like everyone is moving on to Forza, right?
And I really don't know how you can honestly say that the quality of the franchise has gone down. Just take a look at the huge amount of pre-release videos and pictures, and then tell me it has gone down in quality.
Do I need to link some for you...you sound like you are somewhat of an avid gamer...how have you not seen anything that proves otherwise.
If you really want to talk about the Forza series not going down hill... then we can also look at the sales of Forza 2.
Forza 2 (Xbox): 4.02 Mil
Forza 3 (360): 3.00 Mil
Again...everyone must be moving to Forza.
What does that tell you?Hows that for my next try?
Do some research.
Gran Turismo (PS): 10.85 Mil
Gran Turismo 2 (PS): 9.37 Mil
Gran Turismo 3 ASpec (PS2): 14.89 Mil
Gran Turismo 4 (PS2): 10.56 Mil

Sales numbers is what you bring kid??? I can use Wikipedia too guy.
Oh and that Gran Turismo 5 Prologue does count, I have never paid 40 dollars for a demo and if that is what Prologue is than it would be free. If it cost you money thats a game title buddy.
Game rankings % and Metacritic %
Gran Turismo 94.71% 96%
Gran Turismo 2 92.52% 93%
Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec 94.30% 95%
Gran Turismo 4 89.43% 89%
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue 81.3% 80%
Gran Turismo (PSP) 74.45% 75%
Thats not even counting all the other Gran Turismo titles you never even heard of
Gran Turismo Concept: 2001 Tokyo 2002 PlayStation 2
Gran Turismo Concept: 2002 Tokyo-Seoul 2002 PlayStation 2
Gran Turismo Concept: 2002 Tokyo-Geneva 2002 PlayStation 2
Gran Turismo 4 Prologue 2003/2004 PlayStation 2
Gran Turismo 4 Online (test version) 2006 PlayStation 2
Gran Turismo HD 2006
PlayStation 3
Yeah the quality is dropping guy, If you are going to spit sales numbers than I guess the Nintendo Wii completey smashes the Playstation 3 by those standards.
You are assuming that all of those Gran Turismo titles sold are still being played today. When I say people have moved on to Forza it is kind of true seeing as how there has not been a Gran Turismo core title since 2005 and it was not even on this generation of consoles. I hardly think racing simulation fans are so loyal that they will wait nearly six years to play a racing sim game when there is another franchise that has not even really had a poor release yet right there for them.
I get you are a fanboy and that there is no changing your mind just remember that you are missing out on a lot of good playing. I guess the only problem you would have is that it is not on a Playstation 3.

Have you honestly seen anything on GT5. Can you honestly say that it looks like antyhing but impressive? I'm not going to say that it is automatically an amazing game because of some videos, but god damn, what we have seen so far has blown any competition out of the water. That includes Forza 3. When it does come out, I am positive you will be eating your words.
The quality of graphics, the realism, and the amount of content announced has been stunning.
I just don't see how you can say otherwise.
"You are assuming that all of those Gran Turismo titles sold are still being played today. When I say people have moved on to Forza it is kind of true seeing as how there has not been a Gran Turismo core title since 2005 and it was not even on this generation of consoles. "
So people are moving on because there hasn't been a title in 5 years, but at the same time Forza is going down in sales from one game to the next?
I'm sorry, but if they were moving on, you would see bigger sales for Forza 3 compared to Forza 2...period.

Like I Said, my 15,000 gamerscore says otherwise. I've played the Forza demo.

Just because I verbally support a PS3 game doesn't mean I am a fanboy.

So you are not going to say it is great based on videos, but from what you have seen in those videos is going to be good enough to blow everything out of the water.

Here is where your credability goes out the window, don't dare to cmpare the two when all you have played is a demo.

I think you know what I mean. I can't automatically say its going to be a 100 on metacritic, but fromt he viedos you It looks amazing....even better than Forza.
I played a lot of the Forza demo. Enough to know exactly what the game is like. Unless the the driving and graphics part somehow change once you buyt the game, I'm pretty sure I have seen most of the game except for content.
GT5 will be better than Forza. I will personally eat crow if it ain't. If you haven't already, go look at some gameplay videos and screenshots. Tell me you don't think its stacking up to blow Forza out of the water.
I don't make a habit out of hyping games before releases, especially PS3 games. This one is different.

Picked up the 120gb model and madden 11 and modern warfare 2.
Then I bought over a hundred bucks worth of blue rays. Got the Bourne trilogy, last two bond movies, 300, Dark Knight, etc.
