There's a chance yes

So they’re just upgrading the screen on the handheld? Have never even played ours not docked to the tv. Gonna be pretty pissed if it’s not compatible with the system they’ve sold a metric frickton of that is only a few years old.

wasn't the entire reason but I did research and when I got the Switch the new console rumors said not gonna happen.

I just hope they fix the weapons in BOTW2 as not breaking.

There's no way in hell they would release a "Pro" exclusive of BOTW2 or any future game for that matter.

If there is a Switch Pro it's going to be sure to work like the old PS4/PS4 Pro model did. All games must be playable on both, but the Pro will support better framerates, resolutions, textures, all that jazz.

Yeah that strikes me as odd. If anything the "pro" should be a dedicated TV model, like a traditional console. Higher resolutions and framerates don't mean as much on smaller screens.


You'd also have three different models for all three playstyles. The Lite for people who only do handheld, the Pro for people who only do TV, and the OG Switch for people who actually do both.

Yeah WTF on that lack of a feature. Having that would be great since all of my headphones are wireless.
