TBH it sounds like the same thing we've done for years with military FPS campaigns. I can understand the hate.

They should borrow some ideas from Operation Flashpoint for their campaign. Seems the biggest gripe is always "too linear". Make these things more open ended, and shooters are 10/10 every time.
MP was the big selling point, so it doesn't surprise me that the single player got the step-child treatment.

Single player campaigns should just be DLC or something. The main draw for games like this is MP. Why not just make a lone MP game and put all that information onto a disc?

Ive thought that as well. Make multiplayer it's own disc and campaign it's own disc as well. That way you have more room to add stuff you previously couldn't.
