if you hit the spot button too many times in a row it makes a beeping noise. thats the only beeping noise i have heard besides the mobile spawn points

Atleast you get 20 points for every spot assist.
One thing I do like about bf3 is that the kill assist points are proportional to the amount of health you take away rather than just a flat 40 points like bfbc2.

How are weapons unlocked? To unlock the next SMG or engineer weapon, do I have to exclusively use that kit? Or does it go by rank?

Your rank goes up regardless. To unlock certain weapons, you have to be using the kit that weapon is on.

I never thought I had the patience to snipe, but after le headshot a few times, I was hooked...and mobile spawnpoint FTW.
Once we get in the station, I switch to one of the other classes after I set a spawnpoint close to an MCOM.

to unlock the next AR, you have to use one of the AR. It could be the M16 or M416. But to unlock the scopes and shite, you have to use whichever gun you want to unlock the attachment on
