BOTW
My favorite

Xenoblade Chronicles 2
good game, actually sunk 5 more hours into it than BOTW but that is mostly because of the grinding I had to do (not overbearing grinding though). All in all i enjoyed botw more because I like free flowing combat although the combat in Xenoblade chronicles 2 is less restrictive than a traditional jrpg

I am on Immortals Fenyx Rising now, the first hour to an hour and a half is slow but after that it is great. If you like truly open world, with no predetermined path to travel and free flowing combat, it is a great choice. I have come across no issues with it on the switch platform yet

Fenyx is great. When I got to the Gods place I took a break. I need to get Back in it and look for all the treasure boxes I pinged from on top of the statues.

I downloaded the demo for Dragon Quest and it isn't bad at all.

Fire Emblem and for SRPG with the school exploration feel.

Both Xenoblade Chronicles for top notch jrpg.

Tales and Dragon Quest are great - although the early DQ messes with my head because a couple of the characters are literally drawn as Gohan and Trunks

Not sure if you can play Chrono Trigger on Switch but it’s one of the greatest.

Hollow Knight is a good one if your not looking for exclusives.

A very inexpensive game. Amazing graphics.

Dragon Quest XI S 100% Walkthrough-SPOILER ALERT

I love the gay guy and story. Also has fast travel.

Tales of Valsperia? I just played Dragon Quest. See the video I posted.

I loved it. I want one like it. They have Dragon Quest BUILDERS yuck I don't want to build towns.

Dragon Quest the old versions were retro. The new DQ above in video was amazing.

Ys 8 Lacrimosa of Dana is pricey. Is it worth it?

I would say so, I was able to pick it up for $45 for the PS4 back in the fall and was satisfied after my 50 hours with it. It has great combat, a good story and amazing music. It's top notch jrpg goodness if that is your cup of tea.

Divinity original sin sucks. And this is from someone that liked Tales.

The newer Dragon Quest flows perfectly along with surreal graphics and storyline- more ease of use- with the map. Superb storyline. I loved the circus gay guy. travel by ship, dragon, & teleport! No fighting for good weapons at all

Ys 8 Lacrimosa of Dana is worth it. So far it flows nicely like DQ. great weapons flow, & fighting, I am hoping it has the camp sites like DQ.

Fellas, how is Zelda for switch? I’m a very very amateur player and looking for something different than the Mario games we’ve been playing. Is Zelda pretty tough or not too bad?

I’ll be buying Animal crossing for my 6 yr old, that one looks really cool.

Which one were you looking to get? Any Zelda is good. A younger person would enjoy Link's Awakening-I believe that is the newer game.
