Battlefield V, COD 4 or a different FPS this fall

What luck are we going to have this fall in terms of FPS games this fall. I’m usually a battlefield player, but 1 was fairly recent and wasn’t as good as 3 to me.

There's absolutely a fricking boycott. I've been a Battlefield fan boy from day 1. This will be the first installment I do not buy.

The last trailer looked fine. Boycotting a game over some trailers is just way overkill to me.

I'm boycotting it because I also played it at EA Play. It's not WWII. It's a modern shooter with relic firearms and vehicles.

Yeah the last 2 trailers have looked really good, I'm glad they are finally adding in more customization, I always wanted to customize the look of my character in BF3/BF4 and without having to use lootboxes to do so.

Yeah but every game has it now so you have to keep up with the times. CoD has had full customization for awhile now, games like Fortnite live off of it, CSGO with gun skins, etc.

Oh yeah, absolutely. Those games also have a micro transaction systems built into them too. Thinking EA may have learned something from the Battlefront fiasco is just being naive.

Right, there will have to be some way to get all of the customization items. Whether you earn that in game like CoD/CSGO/PUBG does each game with a random crate or two, or just choose to buy crates, or whatever else.
The in game earning just for playing is the best way.

That's not true, you get crates just for playing in CSGO and CoD, and in PUBG you get currency for each game which you can then get crates.
Battlefield has been lagging behind every other game made in the last few years by not having character customization, it's about damn time.

And you're more likely to hit a locked crate then an unlocked one (just spent my in game currency yesterday and got 4 locked crates out of 5)

I think fortnite does it best from what I've seen. Pay 10 and get a battle pass that will pay for the next if you don't use too many vbucks. You will get many skins and stuff from $10. The game is free so if you only spend the $10 you get a lot for it.

I'm going to at least try out blops 4 from Redbox before making a decision.
