What level do you unlock the Famas? Seems like every time I go up against it it kicks my arse, so I assume it's pretty strong.

It is unlocked via assignment. A very easy assignment at that.

You can unlock it by completing one of the assignments I believe. Instead of going to "My Soldier", click below it to assignments and see what the requirements are

a lvl one can get it, you have to get 10 heals and 10 revives or 20 and 20, but you need the B2K mappack

I unlocked it but only have a handful of kills with it. You are right about the iron sights

But once you get the Holo, grip and silencer...it is amazing.

Yeah, I keep wanting to use it to get those attachments....but frick it, too frustrating. The AEK-971 and F2000 are better anyway IMO

I find it doesn't seem to bounce as much even though I believe the silencers only affect hip firing. I can shoot it flat and keep it there.

I just unlocked the F2000 so still have the iron sites for it. I will play some TDM to get some quick kills to unlock the attachements for it this week

I've learned to burst fire most of the time, so the recoil isn't much of an issue.

The only sight I have unlocked is the 6x sniper scope...that came on it when I unlocked it. I was like WTF...I guess I could use that until I get a holo or RDS, it's better than the iron sights.

Just use it on Metro near B. I got the sights within a few rounds.
