Gotta admit, I'm actually intrigued about this game. Reviews seem mediocre. I'm definitely not gonna pre-order, but I will wait for Steam reviews/sale before I think of getting it. Story is apparently meh, but I don't play AC games for the story, same as the Middle-earth games.

It has like a 84 on metacritic. I'm kind of interested. But I always am and then never get far.

Yeah i’m cautiously optimistic. gonna wait for user reviews. haven’t bourbons an AC game since Unity and omg how bad it was at launch

I'll be getting it. IGN is usually pretty good at reviewing games.
I would've been getting it regardless of the 9 they gave it because AC is a great franchise, but that score reassured me.

I like the idea of mini bosses. Hopefully it has some Egyptian mythical stuff and not just fight people. Maybe a chupacabra. (Spelling?)

Saw something about a mummy expansion pack and something about a horde mode or something down the line.
Also, for free next year is an explore mode that is a historical tour of Egypt!

Mediocre? Reviews are actually pretty good. Besides a couple. Like GameStop, who gave it a 7. Lowest score so far. Users on reddit are saying it’s really fun. One guy even said it’s GOTY for him. Everybody has an opinion but that’s still nice to hear.

I just started, but I enjoy the game so far! Playing on PC. Encountered one bug on a sidequest, but man is the open world just gorgeous, just like GR Wildlands was. The draw distances, the water, the plant life; really great. Ubi did a good thing taking a year off between installments to regroup. 8.5/10 for me so far.
