yes and loved it. There’s not too many games like that that I haven’t played if they aren’t new. And normally I play chivalry 2 when my internet works

FF16 has 3 stances you switch from like ghost. It’s the closest I’ve ever see too it. Your attack and magic face button remain the same with a new O button being used for each without a CD and X is always jump so normal face buttons are square attach in 4x combos triangle magic(range), O cool down tree equipped eikon move usually not a damage move either helpful or debuffs, x jump. Holding down R2 changes square and triangle to two of your “moves” that use cooldowns with different properties and damage amounts or stagger amounts. You shift these three eikons with L2 and dodge with L1. It takes practice but is a hell of a lot of fun. Idk what else to tell ya seems like ya played most. Spider man mile morales? Days gone?

my submission would be Kingdom Come Deliverance

Henry’s come to see us! That game on hardcore mode was so satisfying when you got shite right and absolutely brutal when shite went sideways.

Can’t wait for part 2.

They remastered Witcher 3 and its DLC expansions for PS5 if you're interested in revisiting.

The way the overhauled what was more or less a launch title for the ps4 into a 60 fps god of war style camera incorporating CPU mods with tons of free dlc beyond their extremely cheap and generous expansions. Things like having your blades auto oil and not having to open the wheel for signs make the game soooooooo much better. It is actually outstanding they put in the effort for this

I’d also be okay with an rts

how bout turn based?

if so wartales is pretty good. you manage a group of wandering mercenaries and travel across the map doing jobs and quests. gets a little repetitive over time though.

I didn’t see this. Final fantasy tactics is the only true choice then. You can even play it in your iPhone or android if you’re weird like that. It’s one of the best narratives they’ve ever produced and only 1 of three “adult” or mature themed purposely FF games along with type 0 (which I also highly praise and recommend) and the upcoming ff16

damn I’m gonna have to try this too. Thanks again, also turn based is good too. Have they ever came out with any total war games for console?

Cant speak to total war but if you like turn based the persona series is king, octopath traveler is an interesting modern take on jrpgs where the combat is turn based but each of the 8 ( i think) characters stories is independent and yes those are on console. There is a totally insane and out there jrpg that has the combat setup where each of the 3 party members use guns and you position them sround the combat arena. It is really fricking fun and got a ps4 remaster available on ps5 too. The world ends with you i believe is the name.

Just finished the demo and loving it...but it is nowhere near being a sandbox.

Yeah describing ff16 as a sandbox is some off the rails shite lol. It’s essentially, from what we have seen so far, a much more well defined vision what they intended in 13. There are bigger somewhat open areas later on in the game but most will be zone type stuff from the map for the purpose of the limited thing that place serves
