I don’t think I’m gonna be a big fan of BR games.
I definitely suck and I find it really annoying when you knock people down, but don’t get any kills.

Yeah. Its frustrating as heck but you've got to use it to your advantage. Wait for their friends to expose themselves trying to revive the knocked.
Also when they are knocked, they are pinging you to their team , so take cover and reposition

I think I would enjoy this game much more as a soloist.

did some work with the Hemlock. I know its "shite tier" but I can actually land shots with. reminds me of the g11 from black ops

It’s actually a really good weapon for close - mid range combat.
I’ve had a few games where I’ve melted teams with it, specifically in the caves.

It definitely has a learning curve. This game took a while for me to get the hang of too. Keep playing and you'll start getting more and more kills. It really helps palying with people you can communicate with.
