I wish the main site for the tournament had a bracket and its hard to find one anywhere else except in steam and HLTV. Pretty dumb imo

theres a pretty good thread on reddit with all the info and bracket.

It really depends what maps get chosen for liquid. They need the pug maps like d2/cache/inferno. They wouldn't stand a chance on maps like train/cbble/overpass.

Who do you think mirage would favor? Kind of 50/50. One thing that liquid has going for them is LG had to play this morning and again this evening. Can adren keep up the fragging output? i really think Liquid would've preferred to play VP than LG.

Think it would be a toss up but would be a map that's better for liquid. You can only do so much on mirage.

Honestly I think that's a good thing for LG having to play this morning. Gets the jitters out and more accustomed to the crowd. Definitely think liquid would have preferred VP. VP is more of a skill team. LG is more finesse.

I will never forget EnvyUs absolutely obliterating TSM (Astralis now) on Inferno. That was the most brutal game to watch against two top teams I've ever seen.

LG takes mirage after liquid had them 15-10. cold with a noscope jumping awp collateral and a 4k in the round that turned the map around. liquid fall apart after that. most insane play you'll see this year

I don't consider that as much of a choke as astralis vs navi on inferno. They got counterstratted by double awps which really turned the tide. Prior to cold having an awp liquid were showing zero respect to taco at the B site. Once the double awp came out and liquid couldn't kill off fallen or cold in the next couple rounds, the CT economy was so strong that they were going to be awping the rest of the way. Had they taken out cold or fallen in rounds 27 or 28 LG might not have been able to afford double awps. At that point liquid would've identified the awp position and went away from it as they had in the earlier rounds. Additionally, when Liquid was taking the lead it seemed like LG was unfortunately stacking the wrong spots. After the cold 4k, it seemed like most of the executes were going against a stack, particularly when liquid tried to execute a two rounds in a row.
Won't make excuses for OT though as it was clear that LG was inside liquids heads and plain outfragging them

Overtime. It's over. Worst choke ever. Easily. Could have had an easy 2-0.

They release new maps from the community info circulation on official servers for each operation, but they aren't used in competition. The current map pool is very good. After some tweaking nuke may be put back into the pool as well
