No reason to upgrade if you have a working switch. Larger screen, etc.

This is the weirdest sellout of all time maybe. Passed a Target and a Gamestop both with lines for this.
It's such a minor upgrade, and I say that as a Nintendo fan. It makes no sense.

The normal switch can be hard to find. It is a pretty versatile device.

So if you only plan to use it on a TV there's no point in getting the OLED version correct? Any other upgrades?
Also, in regards to black friday deals...do consoles usually go on sale or should I just pull the trigger on this thing now?

Consoles do not go on sale for Black Friday but games usually do.
