Why is boosting a bad thing? I assumed you just played online to show off how good you've gotten your VP. As it is now, your offline VP only exists within any given Career mode saved game.

Same here. I had a guy on the defenders right shoulder by the corner of the box. I was planning on sending a through pass sort of to the corner flag to send in a cross. Instead my guy's run goes directly to the goal. He was set up perfect for a one touch shot, but I was so surprised, I dribbled into the keeper.

Anyone else having trouble playing online? They never find a connection and they do the game lags out right when it starts.
Most recent attempt - Picked Man U as my team, they displayed Tottenham's roster, and then my arena player was Ashley Cole. Surprisingly it lagged out as soon as the game started.

I've never been an Online player, I get too wrapped up in Manager Mode. But I was hoping to do a Pro Club this year with some friends. Hopefully they tweak the online bugs.

Do you even know what boosting is? You could download a boost team and play kick off against them and shoot from midfield and score. Now you actually have to show how good you are and EARN the accomplishments. I don't see how you can not be glad that they rid the game of boosting and finesse dependent bitches?

nope. i'm posting in this thread and the one int he game board, so excuse me if this is a mistake, but yeah world class is fricking insane. the computer suffers almost no ill effects from 1st touch, and i'm playing in the nPower division with a bunch of shitty teams

Well, like I said, I never played online. I assumed boosting meant play offline to boost your attributes then play online.

Because I don't play online. And I like having my VP available to me across all game modes and in the Main Menu.

Anyone a fan of FUT? I've never really tried it, but since I have the 24 gold packs I thought I'd check it out. But holy shite is in detailed and time consuming! I haven't quite figured out if it's worth the time yet.

In previous years, you could download a "boosting" team which consisted of 11 players at minimum height/weight. You adjusted sliders and played in kick off mode. Sit back and watch the accomplishment slot machine. You could jump a VP from 70 to 90+ in a couple of hours if you wanted to. In FIFA 11 you could hack a pro into a 127 rating.

Best new feature is the online mode saves your starting lineu changes. Save soooo much time. And to the FUT question, I think it's awesome and well worth the time. Only gripe is that more than half the FUT users just combine Real and Barca, no creativity in the teams.

SFP was right, I should've waited...I got destroyed by a guy who was playing with Monaco a few minutes ago. Ridiculous.
Trying to figure out who I want to do a career with...want to build up a bottom-half Premier League team into a CL winner. That or take a team like Blackburn or Bolton and get them back up. Take the first year to get used to playing with them, then try to turn them into a a CL team.

I always do my first manager mode with Bayern Munich. I'm managing Bayern and Czech Republic right now. Currently in second place in my WCQ group.
