Anyone else looking forward to Resident Evil 8 Village?

Been watching the trailers and reading quite a bit on it. Apparently all the gameplay from the demo of the castle and the vampire lady is just one section of the game. One of their producers said in an interview that the game is "much larger than what players experienced in Resident Evil 7:biohazard." I thought biohazard was pretty short so I'm excited. Has direct links to 7 as well.

Also I think the game is only for new gen consoles but I'm not positive. Dat RE engine lookin nice in the gameplay released so far tho.

A bit off topic, but I recently tried to replay through all the RE games and was really enjoying myself through RE3: Remake, but man, after playing RE2: Remake and RE3: Remake back to back, it was impossible to play RE4. Really bummed me out because pretty much everyone thinks it was the best one, and I remember it being really good. But the new remakes just play so well that I couldn't push through RE4.
Luckily there's a RE4: Remake coming out...in 2023.
Tried RE5 for about 10min and I'm going to skip that and RE6 and then play RE7 about a month before RE8 drops. Definitely excited for RE8 based on what they've released so far!

one of my favorite series.
REmake is the best survival horror game of all time. No question
2, 3, 4, and 5 are all amazing
REmake 2 is amazing
REmake 3 is pretty good
6 is one of the worst games ive ever played. Revelations games aren't much better
7 is amazing and the original killer app for VR
So pumped for 8. Looks like they're taking all the things I loved about 7 and just expanding the scale and scope. Lots of cool environemnts, enemies, weapon customization, etc

Have you played it recently? It wasn't great, but I thought it was decent enough. Played it on Ps4 a year or two ago.

Very stoked.
Big fan of the series. Finally played 7 recently and loved the first person view. Not brave enough for VR though
