From all I've been able to find, it's a random villager, and it's once a week. There's nothing you can do to make a specific villager want to leave. The only guaranteed way to force the villager you want to leave is to use an amiibo to invite a new villager to your campground. Other than that, it's the luck of the draw.

I’ll be on soon and checking the thread. Let me know when you're around.
Damn I missed this earlier but if you’d be able to play before 4:30 today, before 4 tomorrow, or anytime Monday I can meet you then. I’ll be checking often as well—I was out earlier and the other times I can’t are work related. I’ll make it worth your while for the trouble. Thanks again.

I consider myself lucky because I had a 10% chance of ridding my island of the creepy hamster and it worked.

The hunt for Ketchup begins. I have 110 Nooks miles tickets and an empty space coming.

Whaaaa!!! She’s my best friend. Hahaha. She’s great. Absolutely my favorite islander.

I give her a flower everyday. And she has the biggest lot of all the villagers and actual outdoor furnishings... ha

It’s been raining all day on my island and I’ve caught 4 Coelacanth. It’s still raining if anyone needs to catch one of these, let me know

Yeah I’ve found they’re actually not that difficult to catch . I’ve probably caught 5 or 6. Most times it rains, I just dedicate myself to fishing for a while and usually catch one within first 20 fish.

Same thing today, wife told me it was raining on her island. I told her to keep fishing. Not sure how many times it took her , but she also caught her first one.

Edit: never fished them from the pier and never used bait

All my marlin, tuna , and mahi mahi came from piers though as well as one giant trevally

As you hold your net, hold down A and you will sneak. If the scorpion starts hissing, stop moving until it stops hissing. Inch closer until you're close enough to catch them

On your island ....

Approach them with net in position. Stop when they see you and hiss and shake . As soon as they stop, inch forward. They don’t have to actually turn around , they can still be staring at you entire time as long as they let their guard down . Keep it up until close enough, then swipe.

On bamboo or scorpion island,
I dig a long trench of 10 holes of left side of island. I run around like a mad man on the island and make them chase me (you’re faster than they are). Then I double back around other side of the trench and they can’t jump the holes. They go crazy in circles. Then I calmly swipe my net over the holes and catch them.

Daisy Mae is committing highway robbery on my island for 110 each. I’ll visit you, fiddle. However I was selling stuff through the drop box but when is Timmy going to call for the Bells? Tomorrow? I can still buy some but not nearly as many

And Jesse I have about 4-5 NMT for you whenever you can come with the purple flowers

Let me know if you have any problems I’ve never invited visitors before so it’s very possible I messed something up, also if you want to go to my shop let me know the gates only up to keep daisy in there

I'd like to get in that too, Fiddle. Will make a few trips if that's cool.

Schwartzy, we can meet up after I load up on turnips.

I have daisy kept on the boardwalk and cant delete fence with visitors so if you guys want to come back I’ll move the fence but I think it’ll be better to just keep her there since my prices are low and a lot of people will probably be coming by
