Isabelle said on Saturday that the first snow fell, but my grass was still brown. I had some flurries begin to fall later in the day, but that's it.
I need that damned dung beetle that rolls the snowballs, so I can finish my bug collection.

It's snowing again, and this time, you can see flakes stick to the ground for a moment before they melt. I just wish the season changes weren't all or nothing. It would be amusing to see the upper levels of your island get collected snow first.

I went to the Resort the first day, and haven't been back since. I know there's time enough to do all that later, especially when there are no more major base game updates coming.

I read online that the snow starts "sticking" on December 11th and you can shake the ornaments from the trees starting on December 15th.

I'm finding myself to be wanting to collect all the damn gyroids 
Does anyone have spare white trash bags or a white whirlpool bath they can send me? I hate how the game seems to stick to one color of things in the store, so I'll never get the other variant of some things

If you take things to Cyrus on Harv's Island, he can customize most things to a color that is not normally on your island. I love that new service. As far as gyroids, I am right with ya - wanting to get them all.

This x1000 - he can not only customize Nook furniture you can usually only get in a specific color variant, he can also customize the stuff you get from the Nook Miles machine that have color variants (but you're otherwise stuck with the set tied to your airport color).
If you pay to have the "old timer" to the left of Cyrus's booth, Tortimer will give you access to your house storage, so you can easily grab a ton of stuff out of the house and show it to Cyrus to see what he can do with it, and put it back when you're done (or dive in for Round 2).
I have gotten the most use out of those two at Harv's.

I know I don't have any crafted ones in the house but I think I might have the mats to make one or two. Had my head fully buried in Pokemon BD/SP since I got it, I bet my island is full of snow and weeds by now haha.
You've been to my island before right? If I have them I can just mail them over.

That’s me! Thank you. It’ll take me months to get enough trash to make my own lol. I don’t even have the recipes for most of the trash items and I’ve been playing since April 2020

For the next few days, "Cornimer" (usually Tortimer, the OG Mayor of the AC village) will give you a random number of Acorns (1-9). I do not know if he'll switch to snowflakes after next week.

I have snow this morning. I think it starts to "stick" tomorrow. Also last night I got a pumpkin island on my Kapp'n tour. I didn't know pumpkin islands existed. I guess it makes sense. They have every other kind of crop.

Just received my order in the mail of a Switch console (black/gray) and the ACNH disc. Christmas present for Mrs. TigerAxe. Been studying this thread for a while and watching some YT videos on the game, and it seems right up her alley.
She's always been more into the more casual, fun type games on phone and tablet, though she'll play the hell out of Sims on PS4. I'm hoping she'll dig Animal Crossings NH.
