When you hit them, star fragments and constellation fragments come out of the rocks like iron or clay or stone would when you hit a normal rock. You can wish on as many stars as you want. I got the potato island yesterday, would would've been great had potatoes not been one of the starts Lief is selling at Harvs lol.

I got one today that had not much of anything....a gold bunny DIY in the bottle and the gyroid fragment, regular rocks. That's it.

That's exclusively what it is - primarily decorating 'vacation homes' but I think you can also unlock the ability to redecorate the homes of your island's villagers.

I will have to pay attention to this. I'm not sure if I have seen an island what was not my primary fruit or not. I have the same thing happen with the villager. Lily brought me a pear. Oranges are my primary.

Fauna was outside my house yesterday and asked to visit. We played the high/low game and she followed me to each room and commented on things. Today she sent me a gift to thank me for inviting her in. (hand knitted pouch)

I have it -

You go to the airport and select 'go to work', and it flies you to the vacation archipelago. You go inside and change into your work clothes and they give you a task to go find a villager and sell them a vacation property.

They will sit with you and tell you their dreams - like 'I want all green furniture' or 'I want a relaxing reading spot'. They will think of three perfect furniture items they want you to use.

You will select an island from the list for them, and you have full design control. You can add furniture from a pre-determined list to the interior and exterior, you get to position it, customize it, you can change where the house is located on the land and the shape/color/style of house. You can put down paths, trees, fencing. They'll start you with the three items the villager requested, the rest are in the design menus. Some of the design items are things you do not have in your own catalog.

When you're done you take a picture of it and show the villager, and when you get back to the home office, they pay you in Poki (not Bells), which you can spend to buy furniture (random selection) to take home with you.

The villagers are kind of random on your beach but you can bring home presents to give your island's villagers to invite them to the DLC island to build a home there, and I guess when you're done you may be able to redecorate their home on your island. You never run out of islands or homes, I think the upper limit is the actual number of existing villagers in animal crossing.

No idea - you can use it in recipes though, there is a whole set of recipes for wallpaper, floor, furniture, clothes, so if you can replicate it like weeds that would be nice!
