Does anyone have extra gold armor or can craft some that they could mail me? I've had this game for a year and I still can't build the robot hero yet but I only have enough gold for the robot and not the armor

I have extra gold armor DIY recipe saved if that’s what you need. You can take it and use to build your own.

I try to keep unique/desirable recipes when I get duplicates.

How was everyone's first day of Bunny Day? I heard it was a nightmare last year but they apparently tweaked it. I didn't get the game till May so I didn't experience it last year. It may get old but I liked it so far.
Cherry Blossom season starts on April first. I am looking forward to getting some of those recipes.

Is there any new Easter DIYs this year? I got them all last year.

I did miss some Cherry blossum DIYs so I'll be happy to get those this time around.

I think the recipes are the same, just new items added at Nooks.

And ya I played for a bit and didn't see the constant barrage of bunny day balloons and such so it does appear to be toned down a bit. (I still want to kill Zipper but that's another story)

Along with cherry blossoms, I am noticing some new bugs today. I’ve caught a locust, and I’ve seen a dragonfly I’ve never seen before.

Even though I saw them last year, I love seeing the new bugs again.

Every month the fish, bugs and sea creatures change on the first! Some will stay the same as the months change but some will cycle in and out.

It's always good to check the list early in the month in case any of the fish/bugs are in the weird 9p-4a spawn frame, or to see what you have to catch before the last day of the month because it cycles out.

Polygon was doing a good series on the new bugs/fish/etc. for a while, so googling may pop the lists up, but I had an app for my phone called ACNH.Guide that included info on all of that plus a bunch of extra stuff you could use to research villagers, track items, daily quests, things like that.

LINK /

I used it to keep track of all of the things I still needed to donate to complete the museum, I set up some special trackers to make sure I had gotten all five wasps, hit all six rocks, found both pieces of tree furniture, etc. It helped a lot!

Good advise. We ended up having to time travel back in Aug or Sept because er didn't realize we had missed some stags. ACNH Life is another good app. I have both the one you mentioned and ACNH Life on my phone.

I made all my Bunny Day stuff last night. getting ready for tomorrow.

Do you know the balloon farming trick? You may have noticed that balloons can't fly over buildings or certain bridges and will instead head south around the building blocking their path. There are certain super tall items that will divert the balloons too.

(1) Craft a ton of super tall items (Jail Bars works best at 5 iron nuggets a pop and 2.0 length by 0.5 depth).

(2) On the side of the island where the balloons are spawning from, place the items (with the flat part facing the ocean, the long part running N to S) consecutively from the back of the island to near the the front of the island.

(3) You can leave a half square gap between each item. Strong winds may be able to push balloons through a diagonal gap between two items if you cannot orient them vertically, so make sure to not leave a half square gap vertically between those items. (IF this doesn't make sense in your head, look up a video showing how to do it.)

(4) Once you have your Great Wall of Jail Bars, head to the south of the wall and wait for the balloons to come to you. You can fish while you wait, but be ready to knock the balloons out of the sky.

(5) Don't forget to switch your wall of items to the other side of the island when the spawn direction changes (7am and 7pm).

You still only have a 15% chance that any given Balloon will be a seasonal DIY card, but at least you know you won't miss any potential balloons if you set the wall up right. Good luck.

Anybody have any tricks for farming Iron Nuggets? I'm upgrading Nook's store and getting 30 of these bastards is going to be challenging.

Hit each rock with a shovel as fast as possible (shovel hits quicker than an axe). Don’t eat any fruit first or the rocks will break. Get and use Nook miles tickets to fly to random islands and hit all those rocks (if memory serves me correct , there’s 4-6 rocks on each island).

If you hit fast enough and have some object or tree behind you to brace you, you will spit out 8 pieces each rock. Usually they yield 5-6 small rocks and 2-3 iron on average and much much less frequently a gold nugget.

You could probably collect 30 iron pieces within an hour. Within 2 hours easily.

ETA:
I forgot about clay too.

I saw where some places recommend digging holes around yourself to the top, bottom and behind as you face the rock so you can't get jarred backwards and lose swings.

That's good info, thanks!
