It’s the first spike i recall having in months, so I’m sure it’s not often, but I feel like the sone of the same people get a spike every week. Maybe now that my island is 5* the game thought I was worthy

Go talk to Isabelle. She will tell you what you need to do to get it to 5 stars. If she says fences, make sure you have fences all over the place. If she says trees, make sure you have tress all over the place, etc. I don't know if it's true or not, but I thought I saw that so many of the quadrants on the map needed specific stuff so if you have hardly anything in a specific quadrant, then start putting fences, trees, flowers, items and crafted stuff there. You'll be there before you know it

I mainly added furniture and paths and flower plots and that finally got me over the hump. I didn’t leave any cliff unattended

Does anyone have the den desk and/or chair in the darker wood finish catalogued that I can buy from ya? I'm trying to do an office but I only have the white desk and it won't let me customize it.

Yes I think I have dark brown on both. Assuming we are thinking of same items. I wanted same ones too. One of my islanders gave me the desk. And chair came random in a tree or balloon IIRC.

I've made at least 250 bait so far and will make more when I get home later. Looking to split 10 bait stacks around my island for tomorrow. If everyone can make bait tonight/tomorrow morning, the ones I've made can be extras towards the end once people start to run out. Looking to toss over 200 bait but if everyone makes 50 or more it would help stretch out what I've made.
I'm going to move statues/shrubs tonight to make maximum fishing access points available as well. Doing it all tonight so tomorrow it's all about fishing/points.

These are desks I have and the two colored chairs (black and brown). Let me know if these are what you want.
Tbh, I always thought the black chair was dark brown. But it says black.

I'm usually up early but it's really up to what's best for everyone else. I have nothing to do tomorrow aside from grilling, drinking and fishing on this game for the tournament.

So everyone involved gets the prizes sent to them ?
I’m assuming it’s 100, 200, 300 point levels.
With a full team using bait, 300 could probably be achieved in 20-30 mins.

You spend the points on prizes. If you achieve 300 points, you automatically receive the gold, silver and bronze fishing tournament statues in the mail.
I'm shooting for the anchor statue.
