You could use bait in the last one. I'd also strongly suggest that you look for a spot that allows you to toss bait, cast, and attract a fish without having to move the joystick. I found such a spot right next to our airport, immediately east of the seaplane, during the last tournament--the fish would spawn facing due north and I was already facing due south, and so long as I cast immediately after laying the bait I would attract the fish. At that point the only thing affecting my haul was the random nibble animations.
I was able to catch anywhere from 7-10 fish in one outing doing that. I'd just gun it to that spot once the timer starts and stay still.
I can try and get a video or something if y'all wanna see it. Worked wonderfully for me.

The game has been kind this week - CJ yesterday and Flick today. Was able to get models of the hammerhead and whale shark. Pascal haul for today - three pearls, mermaid vanity DIY, mermaid screen DIY, mermaid fishy dress (pink), and a mermaid tierra.

End of the pier facing off of one of the corners is the same. You just toss the bait and cast and you catch the fish without having to move or reposition.

Finally got that dick Rolf off of my island. Hoping to get a better villager this time, although he set an amazingly low bar. There are like 2 others I’d like to gamble getting off my island, and all of them are on the north side of the island.

So I posted a few weeks back about trying to add to my daughter's experience with the game.
I finally decided to let her try to play online, mostly because she just got splatoon 2.
Some of you guys said you could help walk me through some different things she could do or get, so I was hoping for some help with that if anyone feels ok to it.
She is 9 and has completely taken to the game.

I'm kind of bummed I missed wedding season. I thought Harv's island was totally useless, but I would love the organ for my church lol. I hope another seasonal thing comes out.
I have to thank you baws for helping me get to 5*. Selling turnips and the yard sales allowed me to buy so many more things. Before that I was selling fruit every 3 days for money.

I went to Harv’s island on night of June 30th. I didn’t want to miss possible chance of wedding season ending. Tbh I didn’t understand what was going on. I had no idea what I was doing and his instructions made no sense to me.
I left the couple at the altar and hopped back in the plane without taking any photos.
I could play this game, in theory, for years to come , and I’ll probably never visit his island ever again.

I went enough to get 1 of each of the wedding items. During one of the shoots they let me invite villagers and I am able to buy posters of them now. Kinda cool. If anyone wants some of them, let me know. I have then hanging in a room in the house.

Well I have probably 100+ random items on the front beach to the right of the airport and loads of hybrid (orange, pink, purple, black) flowers on the front beach to the left of the airport. I can post a dodo code tonight and she can take any amount of the items that she wants. If you tell me which flowers she liked and give me a dodo code, I can come drop them off at her island afterwards.

Everyone gets an airport. It's by the dock. If you want to visit or have people visit go to the bird in the airport and select I want to travel or I want visitors. If you want to control who comes you can set it to friends only or create a unique dodo code which you can give out. The switch has to connect to the internet to let people come

If y'all notice that someone has Celeste and posts a Dodo code, head over there and talk to Celeste. You get a DIY recipe that you can craft with the shooting stars that you find by wishing on them.
She can also join in if we have a fishing tourney get together this weekend. I believe that some of the people here had their kiddos come play with us during the bug off recently.
