Thanks Division!

All games on all platforms are down as well as the uPlay and Ubisoft sites.

This is a very unsurprising development...

You think? It would be one thing if it was just The Division, I don't think I've ever seen a game launch crash an entire developers system across all games and platforms.

The 3 people trying to play Assassin's Creed right now probably are.

Quite impressive. Catastrophic failure across the entire enterprise.

Street Fighter is Capcom not Ubisoft, or are you saying you are playing that killing time until The Division comes back up?

Well they probably all use the same login servers.

The uPlay website was down earlier this evening. I tried to log in to enter the AGENTORIGINS 3-costume pack, but after entering my username and pw, the little spinning wheel would appear, and nothing else would happen. I wonder if this crash occurred around then. I hadn't tried any games since then.

I've been tickled shite less all night reading people bitching and moaning on the various message boards about the server issues.

It's just The Division happening in real time.

the gaming industry infrastructure IT baffles me

I can only imagine the fallout that would take place in corporate America if launching a new product to production crashed and tanked for a few hours on launch day. heads would roll.
