Played through first two missions. Feels great, like we were long lost lovers jumping back in bed together. Haven't played online yet, trying to get it installed and the patch downloaded.

User metacritic scores are beyond useless because it's usually fanboys like you who just need another forum to rage. If you're not a CoD fan, of course you're not going to rate it high, and you're obviously not being objective.
From giantbomb, a site I trust a lot:

Advanced Warfare's mobility kept me interested much longer than Ghosts or Black Ops II has. It's the best multiplayer the game has seen in some time and the whole thing totals up to a satisfying, if familiar experience.

Great...can we now talk about the weapons, perks and stuff again and leave the people who don't want or like this game to go play somewhere else.
Good.
Does anyone know if there is an app or website that allows you to change your load out and stuff and push it to the console, like Ghosts did?

Never knew it did that. Sounds handy.
I'd love for them to do the simple thing of allowing you to change your loadouts mid-game, a la Battlefield. Wouldn't think it would be too hard.
Or is that something they did in Ghosts as well?

Nah..can't do that.
But what they do have is a handy shooting range in the loadout menu that when you are trying to decide if you want to play with a certain gun, you can go to a shooting range and try it before you drop it in your loadout.

Didn't CoD have an app like Battlefield does? Wasn't it called Elite or something?

That's cool.
I just hate unlocking something and having to wait till the next match to load it. Or getting caught up in the post game scoreboard/trash talk and forgetting to load said unlock and having to wait ANOTHER match.

I just watched an IGN video on COD and they mentioned a "multiplayer friendly" addition where you're kicked from a game for having too high of a KD ratio. When I heard them say this, I had to rewind to make sure I heard correctly.
Is this across the board for multiplayer or just certain multiplayer modes?

Haven't seen that in tdm.

That's not legit or if it is its not in Kill Confirmed. Clan mate of mine went 41-1 with a DNA bomb and didn't get kicked.

Been able to log about 5 hourly in the game and my impression is very favorable.
It reminds me a lot of the first black ops.
Very well done.

I didn't want to be the one to say it, but I agree

This quote nails it.
Very familiar experience, but very fun. Takes a lot of the positives from the past and builds on them in small ways. No singular feature is ground breaking or over the top, but the sum of the parts makes for a fun time.

If this game is like MW2 I might buy it. That's saying a lot.
You must be a camper then. MW1 was the best by a mile and definitely better than AW. Played AW last night. I think it may be a little too fast. Im not a fan of the halo jumping.

if I'm not mistaken, there is a mode with a title similar to combat simulator or some such bullshite. it's effectively the combat training from previous games. it will not allow you to join if you have a godlike K/D ratio.
Regular playlists are business as usual.

Is there a game mode that allows us to bring guests online?
Posted on 11/4/14 at 11:05 am to USAF Hart
Unless the game mode restricts it, I think guests are allowed. Just connect a second controller.
