WvWvW is World vs World vs World. 3 different servers compete on the various battlegrounds.
I believe all your characters have to be on the same server. Sure you can start over on a different server but if you have a levvl 80 character and want to play on a different server then you have to pay.

Accounts are server bound. You can guest into every server an infinite number of times iirc.

You are right. I meant to do PvP on a different server you would have to switch server and therefore pay.

Yeah I knew you could pay to switch servers, but I didn't know you HAD to make characters on one server once you picked it. Oh well. As a guest on another server we can still quest together and do events right?

I bought the game 2 weeks ago. Started a norn ranger. I spent 5 hours playing, and I just got kind of bored with it. But this is also the very first MMO I have ever played, so maybe the genre just isn't for me. It isn't a bad game by any means, but it didn't keep my interest.
I'll give it another go sometime.

Played it but I did not like the combat system at all. Got very bored with it. I think I quit around level 40 ish.
