The red ring of death was a seriously huge issue for Microsoft and they treated it as such.

I don't blame you for giving up on them after you got burned so many times. I got burned five times yet they continued to send me a replacement well up to 2009 well after the issue had been resolved.

But to say they refused to fix it is very disingenuous of you. You just gave up on it.

I would say they handled it a lot better than another video game company that compromised 20 million users credit card information and then alerted them 3 days after they had learned about it.

Oh trust me Sony has there issues as well, but I’ve never had any issues with the PS3 or PS4. Both of them first gen too. I just thought it could have been handled better by Microsoft imo. I understand it would have been more expensive to just replace them all rather an at least attempt to fix some of them, but after spending a couple hours on the phone after the third time I was over it.

I was never on the phone for more than a few minutes, it sounds like there was more of a problem with you than the process.

A bum product is a bum product I get that.

But trust? Are you saying you trust a company that is aware that your credit card information has been compromised and doesn't alert you immediately?

This is like saying you don't like a Dodge because one 2000 Dodge Dakota had issues and yet they have gone through 19 years of producing more vehicles, upgrading, and even a brand restructuring.

I still have my OG Xbox one and controllers. Never had a problem.

There’s a great case for his opinion on Horizon: Zero Dawn.
