Instead of recoil it's bullet randomly "hits" within the reticule and it continues to get larger as you fire more.

The random chance reminds me of calcs in an MMORPG game.

It absolutely is. In the game like it is, you don't need to be having AR battles. You need to close the gap and use SMG and shotgun.
Snipers and other scoped weapons have no bloom.

The way it is worded here just reminds me so much of the math behind MMORPG PvP back in the day.

I enjoyed the game in seasons 1-3 because nobody was really elite at the game yet. If you were a decent shooter player you could have big time success.
But as people started to get better at building that was when I started to find the bloom unbearable. At least before if I bloom fricked me I could re-coop by being a decent builder and out-building someone. But nothing irked me more than out playing someone in relation to gun play and then bloom fricking me on a one-shot opponent only for me to lose the encounter because of some building whiz.

I've been in front of a player by only 20ft and missed every shot due to bloom. I about destroyed my hands hitting my desk and my wife had to intervene lol.

I just prefer Sony because of the bad experience I had with the red ring of death on my 360. It happened 3 times, and not once did Microsoft offer to replace it. I know they’ve fixed it, but it’s turned me off as a consumer.

You are talking to someone who hates AR battles lol. Shotguns and rushing were/are my favorite way to play almost every shooter. But about the time I quit was after they nerfed shotguns into oblivion. The bloom on shotgun pellet spread is also insane. No clue how many times I crit someone and only got a 9 to pop up

Yep or getting triple head shotted. I did that to a very popular steamer one time and I felt bad.

All revised and they are in a great place now.
No bloom. Fixed pattern with minimum 3 pellet damage. Damage buff and blue and above can 1 pump now.

GronKy did a video a while back about why the ARs have to have bloom. Basically if they were hitscan then anybody with good aim/tracking would kill you before you could even build.

You don’t have to. Every time I shipped it to them to fix, as soon as they shipped it back I would get the ring again with in a month. I was so fed up that after the last time it happened I traded everything in to Gamestop and got a PS3.
Just look at the current console sales to see how much consumer confidence that whole thing cost Microsoft. They’re still playing catch up.

They should have just replaced it, but it was the same console. Same serial number and everything. They’re motto was to look at it and fix it. That clearly didn’t work.
