It does when you're trying to get on a horse or pick a flower, PIA even on PC, at 20 fps.

The N64 games they are adding is the most exciting announcements so far. Pilotwings and Goldeneye have me excited.

Everything else, meh. I’ve never been able to get into Pikmin so those announcements don’t do anything for me

1080 was fun

I could not give 2 fricks about anything else so far

Nintendo is slipping further and further into Turn/turn RPG, Farm simulation, hack & slash, garbage

Gardoki said maybe I'll like BoTW 2, I said I doubt it. Because I have no faith that Nintendo will listen to ANY complaints about the first one.

"Weapons degredation makes for a better game experience. Trust us."

That alone makes me quit that game every single time I try it again.

I truly love everything else about it. But I get to a point with that where I've had enough. It's so dumb and I pray they at least get rid of that. I don't necessarily like the stamina bar but I can live with that. It actually adds something to the puzzle solving.

so no wind waker/twilight princess news?

I didn't get a chance to watch, but that was like the most significant info any of the leakers had. Basically they said these were directs to give a bunch of zelda info and maybe some metroid info

They said any Metroid news was a longshot, but this was touted as a Zelda celebration of sorts. 4 minutes at the end of the direct.

They have strongly been pushing a Skyward Sword vibe in the marketing which I hate because Skyward Sword without a doubt the biggest piece of crap they've released in the mainline Zelda series ever and yes that includes Zelda II. Worst Zelda game by a mile, as long as you don't count those fake CDI games.

However outside of doing shite up in the sky for portions of the game I doubt Tears of the Kingdom has any real similarities to SS at all, so I'm not actually worried. I'm still just bitter about SS sucking.

I understand what they were going for but it's poorly implemented. They identified an issue with the style of game they wanted and attempted to address it but the solution was irritating.

i have no problem with weapon degradation as a mechanic, but they definitely shouldn't break as quickly as they did in BotW. I think the mechanic in games like Demons Souls works fine and it gives you a way to repair the weapons. I don't recall being able to repair weapons in BotW as it has been several years since I last played it.
