If it's on the frostbite engine like Madden then the gameplay is almost guaranteed to suck.

1,000% chance that they will have less features than the PS2/PS3 era games to make room for some ultimate team bullshite.
Also, online dynasty could be chaotically fun as hell if they implement the transfer portal the right way. Poaching players from other user teams could be a game changer.

Until it comes out and doesn't play like Madden, I'm assuming it's a reskinned Madden.

it won’t be a reskin of madden, it’s an entire different team that has worked on the game, they said they want it to be as real as possible, because they were all fan boys as well. It’s based off of the newest madden engine for gameplay which isn’t bad, it will have different levels of gameplay though. Dynasty mode by itself will kill everything that madden has. having rivalry games, student sections, bands, over 100 stadiums, it’s all next level to what madden has been doing.

Unique songs and chants.
You could upload your own custom sounds in '14 but other than that the bands just played the fight song.

EA of 2014 is not the same as EA of 2024 as well, so I'm just not as optimistic as some.

Assuming it doesn't, will they be able to mix something up like they did with remastered and actually have it playable for PC? As much as I want to play this, I'm not buying a PS5 just to play.
