We don't know everything yet. Everything showed sounds pretty similar. Everything Microsoft said last night about their console, Sony had already stated as well.
But the rumors going around E3 are that developers have been saying the PS5 is more powerful.

Then the wording that Microsoft used at the conference. Saying it was the most powerful console "they" have ever made. They weren't shy with saying the One X was the most powerful period.
My guess is they are very similar but PS5 slightly more powerful.

That is why I am surprised to hear X2 would be less powerful than PS5. All rumors up until the one posted by Mystery were saying that X2 would retain most powerful. Microsoft was starting to invest into that line of marketing with the XoneX, which will end this Gen as the most powerful.
It is not going to make a difference in the end and it is going to come down to games and they will be within specs of each other anyways, but that PS4 being more powerful than X1 was one of the things that began the hole dug by MSFT this past Gen.
Both will do native 4K, some form of 8K and have SSDs. Ray tracing and backwards compatibility.
I just need me some Halo Infinite, I can play that in 480P to feel home again
