I still do not understand why they didn't just show the rest of the conference in the "church tent". It's pointless to put up something like that so temporary and cause such a weird - disconnected intermission for the people at home, and the people there.
It's not like they HAD to go to the "real" location, just stay in the original place. Sony out-thought themselves this year, which is kinda sad, cause they actually had great games to show.

Joel is an idiot for not realizing they were going to kill his ward. I realized that early on. And the rest of the game was them wandering around. But I didn’t find anything compelling about that wandering.
The game just kept repeatedly screaming
“THESE ARE REAL frickING PEOPLE WITH REAL DEEP EMOTIONS.” Some of it was kinda touching but again, a lot of it felt like pandering.
The game was above average to good.

Nearly every game Sony showed was awesome. Problem is they’re the same games we knew about, plus still very few release dates. The janky presentation didn’t help.
Personally thought Microsoft killed it this year. Sony had the overall best games for my style. The individual publisher conferences were hit and miss, mainly because there’s only a game here or there I was interested in.
Not really feeling it for Nintendo tomorrow. Outside of Mario or Zelda, their games don’t really do it for me.

I liked Ubisoft. Probably won’t play most of those games but it had good production design and it was charming.

Ghosts of Tsushima looks beautiful, but something seemed a bit off with the combat and movement. Just kind of stiff.
Ready for Spider-Man now. I don’t even want or need to see much more of Last of Us 2. It will obviously be good.
