Yeah, even though Metal Gear Rising wasn't really a traditional MG game, it was very impressive visually and gameplay-wise. That should translate well to a Transformers game.

ETA: Coming out this fall. Cool.

Metal Gear Rising

This game was the shite. Are they ever going to make another game? I'm not a big fan of the original series. Shite pisses me off too much.

LOL, yeah I understand MGS isn't for everyone due to the wacky story and some of those bosses are a PITA.

Not sure about Rising. There was some talk about Rising 2 a while back, but just very light rumors. I have heard nothing in a while.

the HoloLens has the potential to be THE device that is used in business going forward.

From everything I have seen it will be pure "create" inside of your own world.

Let's just look at your industry: you get the 2 people looking at the house to put their HoloLens on - with a snap of a finger the house the couple is looking at is transformed into WHATEVER they want to make it -

Want to see what it would look like with X couch? - sure
Want to see what it would look like with X bed? - sure
What would it look like with this color on the walls? - sure

etc. etc. etc.

HoloLens is going to bring Windows back to the forefront again me thinks

It was a brief showing on the E3 youtube feed about half an hour ago. I'll see if there's a youtube video upload of it...

Agree, it has a ton of business application potential. Blew away anything I've seen from Google Glass.

The Minecraft hololens looked like a virtual Lego table, and that's awesome. A VR sandbox is so badass, imo.

In our old studio we had an actual sandbox where we would shape landforms and do mock layouts. A digital version that could be sculpted by hand and then explored at eye level would be revolutionary.

I remember watching a behind-the-scenes clip of Metal Gear Solid (1998) where they designed the entirety of Shadow Moses using Legos in a similar "sandbox". They said that this technique was used by a lot of game developers back then.

Got to see the MGS5 trailer. It was stellar. Kojima is so good at this.

Also, I gave MS's conference a very solid B+. Possible A-. Not quite sure yet.

It was so fricking dark, LOL. Really was good, though.

Major Zero, Skullface, Liquid, Solid (I think, not sure though), Paz, Kaz, Ocelot, Quiet, Psycho Mantis, AI pod, The Boss reference...
