Zuppardo’s in Metairie - Bourbon bullshite

I hear from a little bird today that Zuppardo’s has SP Weller 107. I call to confirm and I ask the guy about Weller inventory and he asks which one? I say 107 red label. He says nah we only have WSR green label. I wait a few then call back and again and bitch and suddenly they’re down to their last 2 bottles.
I’ve already heard sketchy shite about this place but frick em. If someone from there wants to come and post here and defend this frickery by all means please do. Damn shame that the bourbon game is so shady

Pretty sure they received their SP yesterday. And those are usually kept in the back from my experience. So calling in and asking isn’t always going to yeald the results you hope for.

worked in there meat dept for 1 week a long time ago. one of the older butchers was teaching me some stuff. This really old man walks in and says " hey, this is a business, this aint no training school". I said hey STFU and mind your own business. turned out he was the owner and i was quickly walked out of the building.
