I’ve been to zaxbys 3 times and never gotten anything that didn’t taste like it was dug out of a garbage can. None of these chain chicken places are great, but zaxbys is awful.

Zaxby's any other time.
Cane's is trash. Their chicken tenders are about the same size and chick filet's nuggets. Trashy place. Rather go to Popeyes than that place.

Whataburger if you are near one. They are voted "best chicken strip/tender" every year in Houston and it usually isn't close

there's a place called Babe's where I live and it used to be a hole in the wall dump with one location, best fried chicken and chicken fried steak around, family style sides, now they've expanded to three, I don't know if that makes them a chain or not but the newer ones don't seem as good to me as the original, they're sit down, dine in joints with a wait staff

They must not be ordering the chicken fingers. Because Zaxby's is horrifically bad lately.
Cane's beats the hell out of them despite having a very limited menu.
