If I’m in the mood for a more sweet sauce, I’m going with Meat Mitch Whomp Sauce. If I’m in the mood for a vinegary sauce, Killer Hogs Vinegar Sauce. I’ve also found several really good DIY mustard base sauces online over the years to scratch that itch.

I’m not a big fan of thick sweet sauce.
I also like the Stubbs original, and, like you, I like to thin it out to put to a light coat on some ribs. I usually use Coke or Dr Pepper.

Hey man I bought a gallon of this concentrate and prepared it per the instructions.
It's nowhere near the Podnuh's sauce, more of a vinegar based Carolina and more similar to Sonny's than anything else in BR.
No hard feelings but I can assure you that Blue Plate Concentrate is not the base for Podnuh's BBQ sauce.
I'd be interested in any ideas what the real recipe is.

War Pig Fubar is my new favorite. It’s flavor is similar to Head Country but with stronger fruit notes and a little hint of vanilla. It’s almost like they took whatever makes Head Country so good and added more too it. I’ve never seen it around BR but it’s at most HEB’s in TX.

Living forty miles from Kansas City and shaking violently all over after seeing all the KC Masterpiece and Sweet Baby Ray's responses. In these days of Amazon and online ordering there is no excuse for this nonsense. Step up your game.
