Picked up another bird, grilled both. Both came out great.

If I had never gone to a Rouse's before going to the one on Drusilla I would never go to any other Rouse's ever again. Their meat and produce is the absolute worst. That store is absolutely their worst store.

No, but since you seem to have reading comprehension skills that are lacking, I specifically said "chicken" in my reply.

How would I have a lack of reading comprehension skills if I expressly said "chicken" and "too"? The "too" means "also" or "additionally" (i.e., in addition to chicken). Seems as if you're too busy casting aspersions on me when you're the one with a lack of reading comprehension skills.

The ONLY reason the FDA discourages rinsing chicken is because they figure people will splash bacteria everywhere around the sink.

Raw chicken, packaged on the 3rd with a "use by" date of the 18th seems long...

The Rouses on Drusilla is absolutely terrible about this. It’s probably the worst Rouses in their entire portfolio. Absolutely trash.

The entire back of the store stinks. I also quit buying meat from any of their locations due to this.

This is pretty common with pork that has been cryovac sealed. From what I've read, the best way to tell whether or not the meat is still good, is to rinse it and set it out on the counter for about half-an-hour. Leave the room to reset your sense of smell (in case you've become used to the stink), then come back into the room and sniff the meat again to see if it still stinks.
