Worst Restaurant chains in LA/anywhere

1. Lonestar...there's always a HELP WANTED sign for a reason. Awful, dry and bland steaks...basic menu. This place needs new ownership.
2. Applebees...bad steaks, bad drinks, bad everything.
3. TGIFriday's...Disgusting and was once good. The entrees under 10 bucks - small and bland portions. Some of the worst food ideas I have seen. Creativity often backfires. I also hate their commercials.
4. Logan's Roadhouse...Every single one - wait time of 30 minutes or more. Worst steaks next to LOnestar. Apps aren't that bad.
5. Ralph and Kackoos...Once really good (in the 80's) and has gone to shite. Worst Talapia in the state. The hushpuppies are the only decent item and they're free.
6. Red Lobster
7. Bennigan's
8. IHOP
What else?

EVERYTHING in the Landry's family of restaurants.
Pretty much all of the Pappa's family of restaurants, except for Pappa Burger and Pappa Bros' Steak House.

How did I leave out JOE's?
I can remember in '05 when the Boardwalk opened in Bossier City and Joe's had a 3 hour wait for the first week. I was in awe at the stupidity...they could have walked over to the Horseshoe and had better and almst as cheap. Joe's has sucked everywhere. The one off Seigen was a ghost villa the last time I went...on a FRiday night, back in '02. My girlfriend at the time wanted to go there on our first date.

1. Olive Garden -- there's nothing in there particularly "bad," but like Logans, there's always a wait time of 30+ minutes, and waiting a single minute for a table in that place is beneath me.
2. Hooter's -- this restaurant has become a joke.
3. Fish City -- in Perkins Rowe. It's quite possible the worst fried seafood I've ever had. If they can't do that right, I don't give a shite what else is on the menu, like those oyster nachos they brag about.
4. Joe's Crab Shack -- they really think it's cute to say they've got crabs. They also have a lot of frozen seafood. I can't believe that place is still open.

Yeah, Olive Garden is very overrated and was good in '93-'95. Since then, it has been very mediocre. The quality of the salads and breadsticks has even gone downhill.
I've never heard of Fish City....strange.
Hooter's has been a big disappointment, you're right. The wings are still decent, but those are some of the worst cheese fries I have ever had...and the atmosphere, minus the eye candy, is just not happnin.

Fish City is one of the many please-come-eat-here-sheep-it's-trendy restaurants to open in Perkins Rowe. Beside the novelty experience of trying Texas De Brazil one time, I have yet to enjoy myself in Perkins Rowe.

I just like simple. I am generally happier grabbing something in Central where it's close. I just think it's hilarious that I have to park in a parking garage to eat in Perkins Rowe after 6 p.m.

I get so sick of the Scona/Innes salespitch for them.
Fried Twinkies Alamode? Ha. I'll pass.
Wings suck and so do most of their apps. The only thing great about them is the Motherplucker mugs. You can catch a good buzz up in there.
What's the consensus on Cuco's? My friend is a GM of one...and he also posts on here. I have always liked it. WHat do y'all think?

Yes, I stopped going because of the service. I could always find something I liked on the menu and I liked its convenience in relation to the theater, but the service = holy shite. And don't even think about going on kids night.

This is actually one of my favorite chains, good rolls, some of the best salads...only complaint is watching the 18 year olds through the glass frying your steak up as they're wiping the sweat off their face with the back of their hand

I avoid Perkin's Rowe like the plague. It just doesn't fit well in that location and yep, it's a hassle parking. I went down there once to go to the Grape...not worth it.
