I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that the size of it is what makes it the world's largest.

Ok dork. Is it 50 turkeys total? Or 50 turkeys at once? 50 turkeys in one pot? Or is it batches? I’ve seen 12 turkeys fried in 1 pot at a time. I’ve seen 50 turkeys fried in one day (separate batches). I’m wondering what they are considering to be the largest.

One giant vat of boiling hot oil with thousands of turkeys floating in it

Pretty wild process.
It's 1,000 turkeys. All are injected, they actually modified a garden/bug sprayer pump and put a needle on the end of it.
Square pots, do 3 or 4 in each pot at a time. Multiple pots. One guy's job is just to work the clock/timer.
