headed to #50 Beba in Montreal next month. Looking forward to it.

Have done Beba 4 or 5 times now. fricking love it.

Only place we continue to go back to year after year.

Did Mon Lapin this year (#2 on this list). Yep....it was dinner. Most memorable thing is that the guy next to me flew C17's for a living.

But everyone I talk to locally expects that Emeril's and Saint Germain could both get 2 stars...it seems like the National sentiment might not be the same.

Really not seeing this happen. The level of service and presentation in addition to the quality of the food of 2-star restaurants are leagues ahead of anything in New Orleans. Hopefully, I'll be wrong.

This is what I thought initially but it’s pretty clear that Michelin is watering down stars

Was gonna try and get a reservation there but they are closed the days we have open.

Have reservations for Monarque though, the more casual side.

Is Dakaar that good? I had a customer raving about it the other day.

Dakar is very good. Some of the best fish and rice I’ve ever had. But I agree it’s pretty high on the list. Experience is nice since the chef comes out and tells his story, but…yeah, #6 is really high. I’d put Emeril’s over Dakar by a good bit.

I actually feel like Étoile and Dekar are kinda even with Étoile having good food, drinks and experience, but Dekar having slightly better food.

Still, happy for NOLA restaurants getting good pub.

Clancy’s is excellent and mostly a locals/regulars place with a little out of towner mixed in.

I would hate for it to get busier or more crowded than it is. Although I suppose that’s good for the owners.
