It's not bad, it's just a $20 bottle of wine that tastes exactly like a $20 bottle of wine

Had this bottle the other night. One of my favorites. Can be found for around $20 +/-

Bought this because I liked the bottle. It's pretty tasty.

I hear their chardonnay is really good

Burgundy whites are where it’s at. Here’s a Chardonnay I can stand behind.

Need some good stuff to get through the mid week

Cracked a 2017 Dantless from Airfield Estates. Yakima $22. It’s a Right Bank style Bordeaux blend. We’ll see.

Anyone here dabbled with these Spanish orange wines (skin fermented white wines)? Like floral hitting concrete. Will drink again

I discovered Folle Blanche a few months ago. Cheap tasty sweet white and gets you bombed. It’s a perfect wine for hot afternoons and evenings.

Pretty sure cognac is made from this grape
Can be pricey but you should pick up a bottle of Sauternes if you have never tried - wonderful sweet desert wine from Bordeaux

Made by super Tuscan producer Ornellaia. It's a fraction of the cost of their Bolgheri Superiore Super Tuscan and made to drink when bottled. It was very good and at about $19 is a steal.

Just looked it up. They are extremely popular amongst the wine crowd apparently. I'll look out for it.
Total Wine has the 2017 Ornellaia Le Volte and it's next to a golf store so I might go snag one.

I really liked that wine. I'll pick up 3-4 bottles to have laying around.

Here is my weekend haul. Mostly weeknight drinkers, but the Penfolds and Numanthia are fantastic wines.
Also, are countertop ice makers trashy?

Tell me about the Penfolds please. I recently read Adventures on the Wine Route. Great book btw.

LastBottle has the 2015 La Fortuna for 39 bucks today. Solid buy for the brunello folks.

I generally enjoy orange wines. They often start out as 'wtf?', but then you keep drinking them and by the end think 'man this is pretty good!'.

My neighbor brought me this last night. I had never heard of it, but I am really enjoying it. It has really strong dark fruit flavors. It tastes similar to KG3 IMO.
