Gonna sit on this baby for, oh, say ten years or so

I don't have that kind of patience, hence drinking more of my Chateau La Nerthe

I have not yet had the Bin 389 but have heard great things.

I’m going to start getting a bottle of Sassicaia here and there. 2010 is sort of affordable still and it’s coming into its prime drinking window.

Finished off my other bottles and had to get a back up chateauneuf.

The bin 389 lived up to the hype, it was fantastic.

Sitting at my sons place in NOVA looking at some of the wine that hasn't made it down to Naples yet. 100 bottles in my rack and there's four more cases in a closet and a wine fridge full of whites.

Are you moving to Naples, FL?

If so, assume you are familiar with Bleu Provence. Crazy good wine list and direct buy cellar.

Yep. We moved down on July 1st.

The Blue Provence is on my short list. I was going to make reservations but they're closed on Sunday and Monday. I've looked at the wine list and yeah, I'll be going there and sourcing wine from there.

Tonight was a great night

The Bin 389 is the real deal, it's something special. The Numanthia is an incredible old world wine.

It’s fantastic. Great food and the cellar is amazing.

Just up the road in Sanibel if you ever want a drinking partner

How was that Heitz?

Had planned to wait until the second half of 2022 before getting to the 15.

I thought it was very good. I had not had it before. Very smooth and floral.

I had a nice NYE Rhone lineup w/ a super Tuscan thrown in the mix.

In Dry Creek had Archimedes at Coppola last night. Not a big fan of Coppola’s wines but this one was very silky cab, almost had merlot like complexities. They were selling 6 bottles for $120, couldn’t pass it up.
