A few nights back
I did a Brunello tour when I visited Tuscany a few year back and shipped a case of this home. Small vineyard that’s only a couple hectares overlooking Banfi. This is a good vintage to open now. Brunellos di Montelcino are made with the prominent Tuscan Sangiovese grape - expect dark fruit and mineral notes but really smooth and less tannic as it ages.
Nice little right banker that’s ready to drink young from St. Emeilion. Steve levy pick for only $20. I’m Buying more! Not much Vin at that price point from St. Emeilion.

I don't have a lot of experience with Washington state cabs, but I am enjoying this

This was recommended after I purchased KG3 and Amici cabs. They are all around the same price.
Personally, I would rank them
1. Amici
2. KG3
3. Turnbull
They are all quite good though

Thought the turn bull had a very chocolatey finish

I see why y’all hype up these italian wines. Had this last night and it was great. I actually ordered a different one from 2012, but they were out and suggested this one. It did not disappoint.
Also had some of someone’s bottle of Canvasback by Duckhorn and was actually a big fan. Never really pay a lot of attention to Duckhorn, but I’ll have to look for that one.

Well this is good to know because I really like Turnbull.

That Brunello has some good color. 2015 is still kinda young to drink though but who cares. Glad you enjoyed.

I've been snagging a Baron del Ray Rioja 2015 vintage at total wine. Insane value vivino shipped the average price around $33 and it's velvety good.

Have you had anything from Catena? Their 2018 Malbec is such a good buy.

I have several bottles of their 2010 aging. Really good stuff. I'm a huge Italian wine fan.
