Why do wine bottles spill?

Is there no way for them to make a bottle that pours without those annoying droplets that trickle down the bottle after you finish pouring?
I see waiters a do the wrist twist, or keep a napkin in the other hand a wipe the bottle after each pour. Just seems you could keep the same shape with cork, but design the mouth opening in a way where this doesn't occur. Like if I poured a bottle into an empty 2 liter soda bottle, would the wine dribble out from that mouth opening shape?
Hate waking up in the morning and finding all the drops on the counter and the bottle base ring remnants from the gathering the night before. No one's fault in pouring, just a design issue that makes me want to go to the Box dispenser.

Buy a bunch of those little discs that you just fold and put into the bottle. Gives you a great pour.

I use a paper towel when pouring usually

If you simply use the pour spout that comes on the box you wouldn’t have this problem.

Be a baller and get a nice decanter and go from there.
FWIW, not a baller, just giving a recommendation
