especially since going out to eat is costing roughly the same at any dining establishment that isn't considered a "fancy" restaurant.

Still cheaper than eating at home. The grocery store prices have gotten so high.

Well, Ive eaten burgers at Scrooges, Burgers &Blues, Bulldog Burgers, and Krilakis in Jackson this year. They are good but nothing special. Fries are always soft Cisco crap I have to cook more in the oven and I'm not trying to get them crunchy.

Only other one is mugshots. So up here, Brewbachers burger has more flavor and taste better.

Sad that their Baton Rouge location off Corporate didn’t work out.

I thought they were great.

Went to one on Bluebonnet this week.

Burger was not very good at all.

No ketchup / napkins / utensils at table and soft drinks had no taste.

Never again.

I went last summer, and I really enjoyed my food, but I want to say we did wings and misc. appetizers like loaded fries. I can't say I've ever had their burger. I remember finding their chicken sandwich bland back when the Nicholson one was around.

As much as I love going to George's and get their burger often, I feel similarly about their burger as you do Brewbachers. It's just not anywhere near as good as a lot of other places around town.

Those old school style joints often don't seem to hit the patty with seasoning before it hits the grill. They usually use a dry, crumbly, cheap bun.. iceberg lettuce, a mealy tomato slice, and sparse condiments.

Mentioned the one on Nicholson today while picking up sandwiches at Am Mart. Used to have the best cheese fries and mushroom Swiss burger but that was also 30 years ago. Druisilla one still good just a little pricey for a sandwich.

It’s a self service restaurant. All of those items are easily available for you to get yourself and bring to your table.

Nothing great about it but I used to like the one by Nicholson and Lee.

We go to the Gonzales location regularly. They have a really good club sandwich. I like their burgers as well.

And, as Mikel said, all of the condiments, napkins, boxes etc are available in a central location.
