Yuengling was the first beer i swiped from my old man, it will always have a special place in my heart. That being said, i probably havent drank one in 20 years because there are always better options available.

Yuengling is a solid American lager. Not everyone wants to drink chocolate oatmeal stouts or grapefruit ipas.

They are very much macro. Maybe not near the size of ab- InBev but they definitely aren't on par of what everyone considers craft.
When you run national ads during NFL games and have your logo on a NASCAR, you're not some bro just brewing in your basement and naming beers after the bands you dig.....

The local AB distributor here in the Mecca is working on their application to distribute YL now. They have to turn it in before the end of the month. YL is coming soon, it's just undecided which house will distribute.

Love them. And stouts in general.
I also love IPAs, Pale Ales, and a just about every kind but wheats.
An ice cold "Merican" lager on a hot day is pretty durn good too.
