Who here knew Overpass Merchant cooked their burgers ahead of time?

Not sure if they still do but, Sonic 1973, first job, underage/lied about it and got fired for it two weeks later. They would cook the burgers on the flat top grill on one side only. Then they would go in an au jus bath, until ordered and then back on the flat top to cook the other side. About 45 seconds.

What are u talking about?? Merchant and curbside are the best in the biz right now.

Can’t wait to try a traditional cheeseburger from bumsteers to see where it stacks up

But.. they ask how you want it cooked. And twice I’ve gotten it severely undercooked. So I feel like they must be made to order.

They’re also awesome when a nice medium.
