I bet all the 90s kids will be ordering one. I can't remember a thing about how they taste, but I remember wanting one so bad as a kid when I saw them on TV and my mom would never order it for me.

I'm counting down the days until cheat day on Sunday so I can go scoop one of these bad boys

It caught my husband’s eye, but I’d rather one with all the veggies too

Calzones are just pizza turnovers right?

You grew up. I will not be ruining my memory of them by eating one today

That was my impression of them when they originally came out however many years ago.

Go to a Rotolos on Wednesday and get you an actual calzone for like $6.

I actually worked as a cook at Rotolos in high school. I still have PTSD from the cluster frick of Wednesday nights. Unimaginably slammed every week.

I feel like they were cheaper back then too.

I'll wait for Joey's review before I try it.

He just knocked out the KFC Chicken and Waffles basket the other day.

Joey is a national treasure.

Sbarro calzone in the mall food court in the 90’s was my first taste of calzone. It’s been downhill ever since.

I guess this could be a larger discussion, but why do people eat calzones? Aren't they literally just pizza wrapped upon itself? Is there even a different dough used?

The same could be said for tacos/burritos and most italian pastas (although pastas are different based on the sauce and holding up to the other ingredients).

When/which location?

I think way back in the day in tigerland they were $3.99. Went up to $4.99 and it has been $5.99 for a while.

I recently ate at the "new" Rotolos Craft and Crust, and had a calzone. It was at least as good as the ones I had in college, but costs more. But it was also bigger.

Back in college, it was $3, then $4, then $5, then $6 calzones on Wednesdays

I worked at PH throughout the 90s and the P’Zone was the cheapest, crappiest item we had. It had barely any toppings inside. Some others I remember...

Chunky Pizza
Bigfoot
Steak Lovers
BBQ
Taco pizza
Seafood pizza
Smokehouse pizza (GOAT, imo)
Grand Pan
6-cheese
Priazzo
Triple decker
Sausage lovers
Sicilian
