Any idea where to get Eagle Rare in Lafayette or New Orleans?

Go to Champagne's in the Lafayette Oil Center and ask for it.

I'm pretty sure they have some, just depends on whether or not they want to part with it.

Went in to fill any size cooler for $1.00 at the liquor store and walked out with these 3. Most expensive ice I’ve ever bought.

Not a bad haul, have you had the King Ranch yet? I haven’t heard any reviews yet.

That Heaven Hill 7 yr BiB is one of the better shelf pours.

HH BIB is some delish. I must be getting pretty ornery. I walked into my HH and they has EC18 and McKinna 10 and I passed on both.

to poster asking about ER10, no idea. Last batch I saw was an Elios pick and I was out of town

I read some reviews on the heaven and hill and they weren’t good so I never tried the bottle I have at home. Buddy bought a bottle last time we were at the ranch and we loved it so we each bought a bottle today.

I haven’t tried the King Ranch yet but word of mouth reviews have been ok at best. I bought because I’m pretty sure our ranch was part of the King Ranch many years ago and we are across the street.

Happy birthday! That's a great pour to start.

It's not my bday, but this felt like a present.

Sometimes you get unexpected flavors from a finish or mashbill. This is not one of those times. It tastes exactly like classic Willett bourbon that has been soaked in grapes.

Picked this up while searching for McKenna 10, not a lot punch to, but the flavor notes are good. The finish is the best part, medium to long, at the low proof level there’s no ethanol blast. The barrel proof version of this gets high marks by reviewers.

old school purple tops competed with GTS. I had one recently and it had a high malt taste to it.

The new ones are cinnamon bombs, IMO. Which I love.
