Glad you like it. It's one of the most unique pours I've had.

What do you think about the fable and folly? Had a pour last week at a restaurant, and it was a little better than I expected.

Is anyone else overwhelmed with the amount of Bourbon out there? Admittedly I’m new to the bourbon game but in less than a year I’ve tried over 60 bourbons. Sadly, my favorite bourbon (A.H. Hirsch 16 year) is stupid expensive and almost impossible to find. I will have 2 bottles by year end, but eventually those will get drank and there are a finite amount of those bottles.
I also like E.H. Taylor, Blantons, Russels 10 year, Chesapeake Farms, Eagle Rare, Henry McKenna 10 year, Makers 46, Sam Houston 15 year, Buffalo Trace, Jim Beam Black etc. I feel like I have such an eclectic taste that it’s hard to narrow down the flavor, mash bill, aging etc. that I like the best. I’ve literally drank $6,000.00 bottles to $25.00 bottles and find pros and cons in every bottle except the 16 year A.H. Hirsch. It’s hard to find a favorite daily drinker for under $80.00. There really is no comparison to that bottle of A.H. Hirsch and if anyone can ever recreate it I would buy cases of it. Is it like food where you want something different every day or is there truly a special bourbon for each person that you can buy, drink daily and never get bored? Just curious as to you guys/gals thoughts on this. Basically trying
to figure out if I’m crazy/alcoholic or is this the norm in the bourbon community.

If you look through the thread, it’s rare that someone even drinks the same pour twice in one night, much less the same pour every day. Sure there are daily pours that we all like, but we aren’t my typically literally drinking them every day. A “daily drinker” just means something that’s easy to find on shelves, and therefore you feel better about drinking it on a random Tuesday night. I’m not typically going to drink really hard to find bottles mid-week. Those are usually (not always) weekend/holiday pours.

It's funny you mentioned AH Hirsch. I just saw this pop up last night.

You’d have to ask the manager and it depends on location allocation

Damn you, I just called and paid for 2 more bottles.

I'm surprised they still had bottles available. People are still sleeping on starlight, but I have a feeling that'll change as more try their products.

Good evening baws
FPD is a fresh crack of this Little Veron’s BT pick, definitely off profile from a lot of the BTs going around. Not as much fruit on the front end, a bit more oak and spice. It’s a good one, he must have some guys with good palates helping him pick his barrels
