I did some serious damage to my seagrass bottle last year. It really is more like a cocktail and goes down dangerously quickly. I think I like it a little better than dovetail, but that might be because of my affinity for ryes in general. Dovetail is really good though.

Yep, I usually throw a couple cubes of ice and a luxardo in my outdoor insulated cup with it and it’s basically a cocktail. Great summer drink, IMO.

Their bases are different, with Dovetail I’m pretty sure the base is Dickel and MGP light whiskey. Both are super fruity/sweet and almost cocktail like. If you like Seagrass I think it’s worth giving Dovetail a shot, I prefer Seagrass, but during Summer months I’m going to have both on hand.
